  Institute of Shortening and Edible Oils
A trade association representing the refiners of edible fats and oils in the United States. Their members represent approximately 90-95% of the edible fats and oils produced domestically (20 billion pounds) that are used in baking and frying fats (shortening), cooking and salad oils, margarines, spreads, confections and toppings, and ingredients in a wide variety of foods.
 
  National Oilseed Processors Association
Organized as the National Soybean Processors Association (NSPA) in 1929, it was renamed August 1, 1989, as the National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA). NOPA now represents oilseed crushers of canola, flaxseed, safflower, soybeans and sunflower in the United States. Through its various committees, the Association cooperates with the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, State and Commerce, as well as other independent and private organizations, both national and international, concerned with oilseed products.
 
  Renewable Fuels Association (RFA)
The national trade association for the U.S. ethanol industry promotes policies, regulations and research and development initiatives that will lead to the increased production and use of fuel ethanol. RFA membership includes a broad cross-section of businesses, individuals and organizations dedicated to the expansion of the U.S. fuel ethanol industry.
 
  U.S. Canola Association
Promotes and encourages the establishment and maintenance of conditions favorable to the production, marketing, processing, and use of canola in the United States. The site has information on research intiatives at the national and regional level as well as full text of the 2003 Research Conference.
 
  U.S. Wheat Associates
Develops export markets on behalf of American wheat farmers, for all classes of U.S. wheat. Working in more than 100 countries, USW offers information, education and assistance to buyers, millers, bakers, traders, and government officials in all export markets. The site is available in English, Chinese, Spanish and French.
 
  United Soybean Board
The Board is composed of 62 farmer-directors, representing all U.S. soybean-producing states, who are appointed by the secretary of agriculture. Funded by half the soybean checkoff funds, the USB focuses on international marketing, domestic marketing, new uses, production research and communications.

  American Association of Cereal Chemists International
An interntaional non-profit organization of members who are specialists in the use of cereal grains in foods. This association publishes Cereal Chemistry and Cereal Foods World as well as books on grain and food science.
 
  American Oil Chemists Society (AOCS)
A global professional scientific society for all individuals and corporations with interest in the fats, oils, surfactants, detergents and related materials fields.
 
  Association des Amidonneries et Feculiers
The trade association which represents the interests of the European cereal starch industry both at the European and international level.
 
  Bioenergy and Biofuels
A list of web pages featuring resources related to bioenergy and biofuels. The majority of the sites are U.S. government sites.
 
  International Association of Seed Crushers (IASC)
The umbrella body representing the world oilseed crushing and vegetable oil processing industry. The principal objective of the IASC is to promote the interests of its members through the expansion of global markets in oilseeds, oilseed meals and vegetable oils, using its influence to ensure the production of safe food and developing agreed policy positions on issues affecting the global industry

  Canadian Grain Commission/Commission canadienne des grains
Information on all Canadian grain, pulse and oilseeds commodities, how grain is handled, grade standards, issues regarding the Canadian grain industry, and, information on the GRL (list of publications, texts of conference presentations, etc.). Has links to many other sites and Canadian organizations.
 
  Grain Producers of Australia
Created to foster a strong, innovative, profitable, globally competitive and environmentally sustainable grains industry in Australia, GPA strives to establish a strong independent national advocate for grain producers based on a rigorous and transparent policy development process; engage all sectors of the Australian grains industry to ensure operation of the most efficient and profitable grain supply chain; and facilitate a strategic approach to Research, Development and Extension (RDE) intended to deliver sound commercial outcomes from industry research.
 
  Home Grown Ceral Authority (UK)
HGCA's mission is to improve the production and marketing of UK grain, to increase its competitiveness in UK and overseas markets. To achieve this, HGCA provides market information, promotes exports, helps in the development of products using UK cereals and funds research and development on behalf of the UK arable industry.
 
  SFQC Food with Thought
