Welcome to the Kansas State University Libraries' AgNIC Grain Milling & Processing web site! Kansas State University Libraries are partnering in this collaborative effort with the K-State Grain Science & Industry Department . This site is one component of AgNIC , the Agriculture Network Information Center , which is coordinated through the National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, Maryland. AgNIC is a voluntary alliance of the National Agricultural Library, land-grant universities and other organizations committed to facilitating public access to agricultural and related information. AgNIC is committed to provide quality academic, research, and practical resources in electronic format via the World Wide Web.

Mission

To provide electronic access to selected, high quality grain milling and processing resources.

Scope

This site includes resources related to the milling and processing of cereal grains and their use in baking, animal feed production, and industrial applications. Cereal grain crops include barley, corn (maize), oats, rice, rye, and wheat. This site is not meant to be, nor could it be, a complete indexing or listing of all information on this topic.

Types of resources found on this site include links to associations and organizations, research publications, statistics, educational and career opportunities, government agencies, and relevant international resources. Links to trade, firm, or corporation sites are for the information and convenience of users of the site and do not constitute official endorsement or approval of any product or service nor imply that excluded sites may be un-suitable.
